Guardian Elite introduces it Commercial line with exclusive Quite-Test feature for ultra-quite operation during the unit's weekly self-testing period. When normal utility power is present, Quite-Test allows the generator to run at reduced speeds, thereby lowering sound pressure by as much as 50%. This is especially important in areas where residences or other businesses are close by. No other manufacturer offers this patent pending feature.

For even quieter operation, some Elite models feature displacement engines that run at slower speeds. Other options include aluminum enclosures and multiple voltage outputs in higher amp transfer switches.
